Furtherance of all matters pertaining to the Family CICHLIDAE,

And the environment, to be promoted by periodical meetings,

Possible excursions and the displaying of specimens, and by

The publication of notes to members and other clubs

When deemed desirable.


MEETING INFORMATION

General Meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of each month
NO MEETING HELD IN JANUARY

Major Auctions are held on 1st Saturday of March & October

Christmas Meeting is held on 1st Saturday of December

ENTRY: $2 per visitor over the age of 18 (non-members). Financial Members: Free

NEW SIZING GUIDELINE: EFFECTIVE MAY 2017

Those that wish to sell fish through our auctions, we would like to remind you that
the Minimum Fish Size Guideline for NSWCS Auctions will be enforced from
this meeting going forward. Please refer to your March 2017 magazine issue on
page 18 for the details on the new sizing requirements / guidelines.

 

SUMMER TABLE SHOW

Here is your chance to show case your fish & win some prizes!
Do you have a fish that you think is show quality? Bring your fish
along on the night for chance to win club money to spend on the night.
(note fish put into the table show cannot be sold through the auction on the night).
As we have limited supplies at our venue, please try to bring your own tank
and water + any supplies you  need to show your fish.


TALK: FLAVUS + LOMBARDOI

Ever thought about keeping Flavus or Lombardoi? Or have you got the knack at
breeding either of these cichlids? We will be presenting a talk at our December
meeting about Flavus & Lombardoi. Come with any questions about the species
or feel free to share some of your tips on breeding!

MINI FISH AUCTION

There are generally around 100 lots of fish and dry goods that come through in a mini
auction,  so you are bound to find something that you would love to add to your tank!
Whether  you are  after a new breeder, display fish or something to add to your colony, our
mini auction is your solution.  From the common electric yellow, to the more rare species
of Cichlids and also L number catfish, we hope that our auction can help!

BIDDING RULES

If you want to bid on a fish, please do so early to save any disappointment
when you miss out for bidding too late.  All bids are to be made in whole dollar units.

Bids will be in minimum amounts of
$1 increments from $1 to $20.
$2 increments from $20 to $50.
$5 increments beyond $50 and $10 bids after $100.


MEMBERS GIVEAWAY

It’s Christmas time, so it is time to celebrate with you all!
Financial members will be given a ticket on entry for their prize.
All financial members will be guaranteed a prize!

NSWCS will also be supplying pizza on the night, so our
members can eat free as well!

TRADE TABLE & SUPPER TABLE

The Trade Table will be open for all your fish needs. Food, bags and
many other items available for sale! Ray will be able to help you out!
Re-bagging Available For a $1

Sarah, Karen & Jodie will be at the supper table with plenty of food
and drinks to be purchased on the day!

 

MAJOR AUCTION LOTS

The December meeting will be the first chance to grab your major auction
lots for our Major Auction held in March 2018.
A reminder that you must be a financial member for 3 months
to be able to sell your fish in a major auction.
Any questions. please see a committee member on the night.
